The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, paid homage to the grave of the historic President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova on the 18th anniversary of his death.
President Osmani stated that today we remember the historic President of the Republic of Kosovo, President Ibrahim Rugova, the founding father and architect of our country’s independence.
“The man who dedicated every day of his life to the freedom and independence of our country and worked primarily with the people of Kosovo, and secondly with our allies, so that today we can enjoy this truth after many sacrifices of our people”, said President Osmani.
According to President Osmani, President Rugova managed, in an extremely difficult time for our people, to build alliances that are still crucial for Kosovo.
