The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America in Kosovo, Mrs. Anu Prattipati. During the meeting, President Osmani’s recent visit to the US, the excellent meetings held with senior officials of the Trump Administration, as well as other issues of common interest were discussed.
On this occasion, President Osmani reconfirmed Kosovo’s commitment to further advancing bilateral relations, including opening new chapters of cooperation with the US, with particular emphasis on the fields of economy and defense.
Recent developments in the country, with a focus on further steps towards the constitution of the Assembly in light of the recent decision of the Constitutional Court, as well as developments in the field of security were discussed in the meeting.
