Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Kosovo with common strategic foreign policy priorities.
The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani on the occasion of February 17th – the day of state independence, received a congratulatory telegram from the President of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić.
“Encouraged and happy with the advancement of relations between the two friendly countries, we are convinced that the path of economic and political cooperation and any other type of cooperation, as well as friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Kosovo, in the near future will be of special importance for the citizens of our countries”, states the telegram of President Komšić.
In the telegram, Komšić also points out that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Kosovo share their common strategic foreign policy priorities, such as membership in NATO and European Union. “Only together and in cooperation with partners who share the same values ​​can we achieve our goal,” says at the end of President Komšić's telegram.
