The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received yesterday representatives of the Association for the Protection of Patients’ Rights, with whom she discussed the current challenges in the health system and the need to strengthen patients’ rights in our country.
During the meeting, President Osmani emphasized the importance of raising public awareness on patients’ rights, as well as the need to improve access to qualitative, transparent and equal health services for all citizens.
Furthermore, President Osmani reiterated her commitment to a health system that places the patient at the center of attention and guarantees dignified treatment to every citizen, without distinction.
According to President Osmani, the protection of patients’ rights is an important indicator of the democratic and ethical functioning of the state.
