The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today in a regular meeting the US ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier, with whom she discussed the latest developments and more specifically the submission of the application for membership in the European Union. President Osmani stated that this is an important step for the fulfillment of Kosovo's vision for integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures.
The developments in the north of the country were also discussed at the meeting. President Osmani underlined the commitment of the institutions of the Republic to regular and continuous coordination with the United States and other allies.
