At today’s meeting with the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, I thanked her for her engagement on the liberalization of visas for the citizens of Kosovo. At the same time, I reiterated the need for the lifting of EU measures against Kosovo, while emphasizing the importance of granting the status of an EU candidate country to our state.
The Republic of Kosovo will continue to be at the forefront of dynamic reforms that strengthen democracy, support the rule of law, increase the standard of living for our citizens and bring our country closer to the European Union.
