The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, received today the Minister of Tourism of the State of Israel Haim Katz.
President Osmani welcomed the signing of the Joint Declaration between the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Tourism of the State of Israel on cooperation in the field of tourism, underlining the importance of this Declaration in strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and exchange of experiences.
In this direction, President Osmani also expressed the need to finalize the process of lifting of visas for citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, which would affect increased interaction between citizens, businesses and institutions of both countries.
The cooperation with Israel in strengthening Kosovo’s international position, including membership in international organizations was also discussed at the meeting.
President Osmani expressed her satisfaction with the level of bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries, while she emphasized that the further strengthening of interstate relations will also be reconfirmed during the official visit of the President to Israel, at the invitation of President Herzog.
