The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today the credentials of the non-resident ambassador of Malaysia, Zahid Rastam.
At the meeting with Ambassador Rastam President Osmani expressed her belief that during his tenure, the ties between Kosovo and Malaysia will strengthen even further.
President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo needs Malaysia’s support for Kosovo’s membership in international organizations and recognition by the states of the ASEAN organization.
Exploring new opportunities for cooperation with Malaysia, especially in key sectors such as economy, trade, education and agriculture, which offer tremendous potential for mutual benefit were also discussed at the meeting.
The organization of a joint economic forum, a good opportunity for exchange between the businesses of the two countries was also a subject talked about at the meeting.
President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting peace and stability, both internally and in the region.
