The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today the credentials of the non-resident ambassador of Denmark to Kosovo, Christian Grønbech-Jensen, to whom she bid a warm welcome.
According to President Osmani, the relations between the two countries are very good and in this context, she expressed the trust that they will intensify even further during the mandate of Ambassador Christian Grønbech-Jensen.
At the meeting with Ambassador Grønbech-Jensen, President Osmani also discussed the current political and security developments in the country and emphasized that the country's institutions are dedicated to peace and stability.
President Osmani said that Kosovo needs further support from Denmark in terms of its membership in the Council of Europe and in other international organizations.
Ambassador Grønbech-Jensen pointed out that Denmark supports Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe and at the same time welcomes Kosovo's application for EU membership.
President Osmani also discussed with Ambassador Grønbech-Jensen the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy, economic and commercial exchange, education, justice and other spheres of mutual interest.
