President Osmani received the credentials of the new ambassador of Hungary to Kosovo Béla Boszik

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received the credentials of the new ambassador of Hungary to Kosovo Béla Boszik, whom she congratulated on his new tenure and expressed the hope that during his mandate the bilateral relations between the two countries will further intensify.

The good relations between the two countries, according to President Osmani, date not only from the 90s, during the time of President Rugova, but also from mutual historical efforts.

The current political and security situation was discussed during a part of the meeting.

President Osmani stated that Kosovo will continue its cooperation with allies and that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack and act of aggression on September 24th must be brought to justice. In this context, according to President Osmani, Serbia should be held responsible for the terrorist attack and act of aggression against the Republic of Kosovo.

The expansion of interstate cooperation was also discussed, especially in the field of student exchange, and the potential for strengthening economic relations was also potentiated.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Boszik committed to greater cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
