This week, President Vjosa Osmani received the Chargé d’Affaires of the US mission in Kosovo Anu Prattipati, with whom she discussed the latest developments in the country, with a special focus on security developments, as well as other topics of common interest.
The importance of coordination with the partners of the Republic aiming achievement of viable success in meeting joint objectives were also addressed.
Also, almost a year following the act of Serbia’s aggression on Kosovo, President Osmani stressed that the lack of accountability and justice for the responsible individuals is detrimental to peace and security not only in Kosovo, but also in the region. She also emphasized that the existence of illegal structures in the north hinders the full integration of the Serbian community and that the fight against illegal structures is to the benefit of the citizens in that part and the rule of law.
