The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, received yesterday the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angılı.
The expansion of bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on the fields of economy and defense were discussed at the meeting. President Osmani reiterated that the Republic of Türkiye remains an important ally of Kosovo, expressing at the same time the gratitude for its continued support to the Euro-Atlantic endeavors of our country.
Madam President emphasized that NATO membership remains the strategic priority of the Republic of Kosovo and that cooperation with Türkiye in this regard is essential.
President Osmani and Ambassador Tunç Angılı also discussed the need for Türkiye’s continued support to Kosovo’s membership in the Council of Europe and NATO.
