The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received today the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Jonathan Hargreaves.
The latest political developments in the country were discussed at the meeting. Madam President expressed her gratitude for the continued support of the United Kingdom to Kosovo and our people.
Furthermore, she potentiated the continuous commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to expansion of cooperation with the United Kingdom and opening of new chapters of partnership that contribute to the achievement of common objectives.
During the discussions, the importance of maintaining a democratic environment, where different opinions are respected and public debate is conducted responsibly, was also emphasized. In this context, it was stressed that threatening and bullying language is unacceptable and should have no place in public discourse.
