Prior to departing on an official trip to the NATO headquarters, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received in a working meeting the KSF Commander Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari.
On this occasion, President Osmani, as the Supreme Commander of the KSF, was informed by Lieutenant General Jashari of the current activities and developments in the KSF, with special emphasis on the f implementation process of the Comprehensive Transition Plan during the year 2023 and increasing the wellbeing of the KSF soldiers and servicemen.
President Osmani also discussed with Lieutenant General Jashari the cooperation and close coordination with the main strategic partner, the United States of America, as well as with other NATO countries in relation to security issues in the country and the region.
Both parties reiterated that our common vision is for the Republic of Kosovo to develop its army in accordance with the standards of NATO member countries, to be an interoperable force in joint missions with allied forces in the service of peace, stability and regional and global security.
