The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today in a farewell meeting the non-resident ambassador of Bangladesh Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, whom she thanked for his engagements during his tenure.
President Osmani expressed her heartfelt gratitude for Bangladesh’s steadfast commitment to the expansion of bilateral relations with Kosovo and continuous support over the years.
In this line, President Osmani presented the need for continued support by Bangladesh in strengthening Kosovo’s position in the international arena.
The excellent opportunities for the further promotion of economic and trade relations with special emphasis on the textile industry, which is quite developed in Bangladesh, were also discussed at the meeting.
In this context, the possibilities for the organisation of a joint economic forum was also discussed, as an excellent opportunity for businesses from both countries to explore the perspectives of cooperation in the future.
President Osmani informed Ambassador Bhuiyan on the second edition of the Forum for Women, Peace and Security which will be held on April 15-16 this year and which is a good opportunity for cooperation and further dialogue.
