The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received at a meeting today the Foreign Minister of Poland Zbigniew Rau, who is also the current chairman of the OSCE.
At the meeting with Minister Rau, President Osmani discussed the role of the OSCE in supporting the institutions of the Republic during the last two decades, as well as the latest security developments in the region and beyond.
According to President Osmani, Kosovo has made progress in the field of rule of law, democracy and human rights.
Meanwhile, regarding the dialogue with Serbia, President Osmani has emphasized that Kosovo is always a constructive party and that the process should be based on mutual recognition.
President Osmani also discussed with Minister Rau Kosovo's commitment to the support of the Ukrainian people, who are being faced with Russia's unprovoked war, expansion of friendly relations with Poland as well as the need to speed up the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Kosovo.
President Osmani said that they count on Poland's support in Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic journey.
“Kosovo is committed to actively contribute to a more united, more peaceful and more democratic Europe” emphasized President Osmani at the meeting with the Polish Foreign Minister.
At the meeting with Minister Rau, President Osmani also spoke about the importance of Kosovo's membership in international organizations that benefit all citizens without distinction.
