The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today at a meeting the Ambassador of Austria Christoph Weidinger, with whom she discussed issues of mutual interest, including the promotion of Austrian investments in Kosovo, cooperation in the field of education, projects, potential investments, agriculture and so on.
She thanked Austria for its support to Kosovo during various historic periods.
The general developments in the country, including Kosovo's preparations for the systematisation of the citizens from Afghanistan under the US Special Immigrant Visa Program and the dialogue process with Serbia were also discussed at the meeting.
President Osmani stressed that Kosovo is open to shelter the citizens of Afghanistan, while for the dialogue process with Serbia she reiterated the stance that it should result in a binding agreement, which ensures the recognition of Kosovo's independence by Serbia.
