The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today
in a regular meeting the US Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier.
President Osmani and Ambassador Hovenier discussed the latest developments in the country, highlighting the joint commitment to the further advancement of democracy and the rule of law in the country.
At the meeting they also discussed the last steps towards strengthening of cooperation in the field of defense and security. On the eve of the 16th anniversary of independence, President Osmani laid a special emphasis on the importance of expansion of bilateral cooperation in every field to the benefit of citizens and with the aim of further consolidation of the permanent alliance with the USA.
