President Osmani received Ambassador Bencze

The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani received the Hungarian Ambassador József Bencze, who congratulated her on taking office and confirmed the continuation of Kosovo's support on the Euro-Atlantic path as well as in the visa liberalization process.

Thanking him for reconfirming these positions, President Osmani also thanked Ambassador Bencze for the congratulatory letter of Hungarian President János Áder.
“Our country's relations with Hungary are ingrained in our common history of protection of European civilized values and we are extremely grateful for your country's readiness to work together towards intensifying and expanding cooperation between our countries,” he said. President Osmani.

The meeting discussed in particular the situation with the pandemic, in which case President Osmani stressed that the provision of vaccines is a top priority for all of the institutions.

Ms. Osmani also emphasized the cooperation in the field of education with the Hungarian state, with a focus on increasing the number of scholarships for our students to study in Hungary.

In the discussion on future cooperation, President Osmani said that she will support the government of the country in all joint initiatives and projects with Hungary  and stated that areas of common interest include: cultural and exchange cooperation, trade exchanges, agriculture, security, as well as the area of European integration.
