President Osmani received a group of girls and women from the Egyptian community

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani on the eve of June 24th, the national day of the Egyptian community, hosted a group of women from this community.

President Osmani emphasized that Kosovo is lucky to consist of a diverse society, part of which are Egyptian girls and women, who are actively engaged in advancing the rights of the community.

“Communities are an added value to our society, and we must do our best to guarantee to them equal opportunities and treatment. Empowering women is a priority for me. “Providing employment opportunities creates not only economic independence, given the fact that the role of women in society is extraordinary, in all areas,” said President Osmani.

At the meeting, the President encouraged the girls and women of the Egyptian community to continue with their engagement to empowerment.

“As institutions of the country, we will take care of a comprehensive approach and guarantee of your rights. “Supporting and empowering women should be a joint commitment so that every citizen is treated with dignity and is equal,” said President Osmani at the meeting with girls and women of the Egyptian community.
