The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, received a delegation of US congressional staff, organized by the Atlantic Council, with whom she discussed recent developments in the country and the region, as well as strategic relations between the United States of America and Kosovo, and Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic perspective.
President Osmani expressed her gratitude for the continued and bipartisan support from the US Congress, emphasizing the vital role of both chambers of Congress to peace, security, and strengthening the international position of the Republic of Kosovo.
President Osmani pointed out that the role of the United States of America has been decisive to the fate of Kosovo, its peace, freedom, and state-building.
She underlined the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to peace as well as to its membership in NATO and the EU, considering Euro-Atlantic integration to be a key step for strengthening security and stability in Kosovo, in the region, and throughout the European continent.
