The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on the 18th anniversary of the death of the founding father of the state of Kosovo, President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, visited his family, paid homage at his grave and participated in the memorial academy in the course of the January Flame, held under the auspices of the President.

Today, visiting the Rugova family, paying homage at the grave where our leader rests, and participating in the memorial academy in the course of the January Flame, we honoured the architect of independence and the founding father of our Republic, President Ibrahim Rugova.
He worked for Kosovo until his last breath, and we have the obligation to carry his vision for Kosovo as a state integrated into the EU and NATO and in eternal friendship with the USA until the end.
May the memory of the historic President be eternal!
