At the invitation of the President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, departed for North Macedonia to participate at the Prespa Forum for Dialogue on the topic: Shaping Western Balkans future in the contemporary European security architecture, which takes place from 16th to 18th of June in Ohër.
President Osmani will address the panel during the main official opening session, with other heads of state, on the topic: “What after the war in Ukraine?” which will discuss the new geopolitical reality created by the war in Ukraine, the strengthening of transatlantic unity as well as the joint response against Russian aggression.
The Prespa Forum for Dialogue will host the heads of state of the region, representatives from the EU, US, and prominent personalities in the fields of politics, security, economics, academia and business. During the Forum, President Osmani will have a bilateral meeting with her counterpart Stevo Pendarovski, as well as with senior officials of other participating countries.
In addition to the official opening session and bilateral meetings, President Osmani will be one of the keynote speakers at the discussion panel “Summit for Democracy: The Importance of Women in Governance”, where she will discuss the need to advance the agenda of women, security and peace.
