On March 27, 1999, in the “Dardania” neighborhood in Peja, one of the darkest days in our history of the last war was marked. Serbian forces barbarically executed 40 men, women and children, while they were in their homes and neighborhood. A crime that targeted not only their lives, but humanity itself.
Today, we remember them with pain and respect. But memory is not only pain. It is also a commitment to justice and responsibility to build a future where such crimes are never repeated.
May the memory of those who fell for freedom in the “Dardania” neighborhood be eternal!
