The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani in continuation of the meetings during her visit to Singapore was received today by the Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore, Mr. Tan Chuan-Jin accompanied by a group of MPs.
President Osmani spoke about the excellent relations between Kosovo and Singapore, appreciating the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation in bringing our countries closer, as well as attitudes towards global developments. “Our bilateral cooperation has the potential to deepen further, and here parliamentary diplomacy also plays a special role,” said President Osmani.
President Osmani mentioned the economic and development success of Singapore, as an inspiration to Kosovo. In this regard, President Osmani also mentioned the potential for the intensification of cooperation between our two countries in defense, energy, education and other areas of common interest.
President Osmani and President Chuan-Jin also talked about global developments and the need for democracies to stay united at these times of major challenges.
