The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani received today at a meeting the founder of the Kosovo-American Education Fund (KAEF), Dale Pfeiffer accompanied by the co-chair of the fund Jeta Zagraxha.
President Osmani thanked Mr. Pfeiffer for the support he has provided and continues to do so to Kosovo over the years, since the days when he was in charge of the USAID office.
At the meeting, opportunities for further cooperation in the strengthening of the field of education were discussed.
Investing in education, according to President Osmani is an ongoing priority. According to her education should become a pillar of development and employment.
In this context, President Osmani thanked the United States for its support to the education sector through USAID and other programs.
Since the establishment of KAEF over 100 students have pursued their master's studies in the United States through scholarship.
