President Osmani met with the Danish Foreign Affairs Minister, Vatican Secretary of State for Relations with States and with the EUROPOL director

On the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, at separate meetings, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani continued her meetings, this time with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Mr. Jeppe Kofod, Vatican Secretary of State for Relations with States Mr. Paul Richard Gallagher, and the Europol Director, Mrs. Catherine de Bolle.

At the meeting with the Danish Foreign Minister President Osmani together with the Foreign Minister Donika Gërvalla praised the relations between the two countries and the commitment of both parties for their further advancement. Thanking Minister Kofod for Denmark's continued assistance to Kosovo, President Osmani and Minister Gërvalla asked for further support on the visa liberalization process, but also on Kosovo's ambitions for membership in EU, NATO, UN and other international organizations. . President Osmani stressed that Kosovo is interested in continuing cooperation in various fields, with a special focus on the rule of law, green agenda and economy.

At the meeting with the Vatican Secretary of State for Relations with States Mr. Paul Richard Gallagher, President Osmani and Minister Gërvalla expressed their readiness for an even closer cooperation with the Holy See, aiming the advancement of mutual relations.

President Osmani emphasized that Republic of Kosovo is ready to sign an agreement with the Vatican on issues that are in the common interest of both countries.

While at the meeting with the EUROPOL Director, President Osmani and Mrs. De Bolle exchanged views on the security situation in Europe, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and coordination in the fight against organized crime and the efforts of the Republic of Kosovo to guarantee the rule of law. President Osmani reconfirmed that the rule of law remains a priority of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
