The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, is currently in Washington D.C. for meetings at the Senate and the House of Representatives, followed by a keynote address delivered at the 11th Annual Symposium of the ‘United States Naval War College’ in Rhode Island.
President Osmani wrote:
We are in Washington D.C. for meetings in the Senate and the House of Representatives, before continuing to Rhode Island to deliver the keynote address at the 11th Annual Symposium of the ‘United States Naval War College’.
It was a pleasure to meet today with Republican Senator Thom Tillis with whom we discussed the latest security developments in Kosovo and in the Western Balkans, as well as the importance of cooperation towards maintaining peace and security in our region.
Sustainable peace and security are a prerequisite for prosperity and development. The US has been and remains committed to helping preserve and advance them in Kosovo.
