President Osmani’s full post:
Conclusion of a good day in President Rugova’s Istog.
We were welcomed by the mayor Ilir Ferati and we discussed the challenges but also the opportunities for the municipality of Istog to develop even faster. We paid homage at the statue of the historic president Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, to then continue with tributes at the Imeraj family from Padalishta, whose 19 family members were killed in 1999. With the massive presence of our diaspora and the citizens of Istog, I honored KLA martyrs, activists and sportsmen with presidential medals.
At the Home for the Elderly, we had a warm meeting with the elderly, who have contributed to the common good. Meanwhile, in the village of Veriq, I visited the house of the Josiq family, which was burned down days ago through a barbaric act, but funds have already been allocated for its reconstruction. Kosovo is home to everyone without distinction, while Istog has always been a good example of the coexistence of all communities.
I ended my visit to Istog, with a visit to the “Onix” business, a spa that presents an extremely impressive environment due to the thermal waters that provide opportunities for healthcare treatment.
Thanks for the hospitality Istog!
See you in the forthcoming municipality!
