The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani during her official visit to North Macedonia, at a ceremony organized at the Embassy of Kosovo in Skopje, donated a contingent of books to the Albanian Library of Bitola, which is currently under construction.
President Osmani congratulated the initiator Emira Selimi for her extraordinary work and dedication to the opening of the first Albanian language library in the city of Bitola. Furthermore, the President emphasized that this student initiative could not happen in any city more adequately than that of Bitola, where our unified alphabet and our unified language originate from.”
“It is also encouraging that this initiative has been taken by a girl, and I strongly believe that like many other inspiring initiatives by women and girls, its impact will be enormous. The benefits of this library are long-term and will go beyond generations,” pointed out President Osmani at the ceremony for handing over the books to student Emira Selimi.
In her address, Emira Selimi expressed her heartfelt gratitude to President Osmani for the donation of books.
