President Osmani continues the meetings on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum

The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, after being welcomed by President Erdogan and Minister Çavusoglu, held a discussion at the panel of leaders, where together with the President of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio and the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, spoke of the importance of regional and global cooperation for peace and prosperity in the interest of the citizens.

President Osmani also met with the President of Slovenia Borut Pahor, the member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic and the nominated Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazovic with whom she discussed the developments in our region, the importance of accelerating the traversing towards the European Union and intensifying regional cooperation to overcome the challenges and barriers we face.

At the Antalya Diplomatic Forum President Osmani had the opportunity to exchange views on the latest developments with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and other world leaders, and in the evening attended the dinner hosted by President Erdogan for leaders from nearly 80 countries from around the world.

President Osmani also met with the President of Guinea Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo, the Prime Minister of Libya Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore as well as representatives of several non-recognizing states. In separate meetings, the President also spoke with the OSCE Secretary-General Mrs. Helga Schmidt, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic Speaking States as well as with the Member of the European Parliament Ilhan Kyuchyuk.

At all these meetings, Madam President emphasized the position of the Republic of Kosovo in relation to regional and global developments and pushed forward topics of common interest with these countries and organizations.
