We received with sadness the news of the passing of Mr. Haxhi Thaçi, father of the former President and former Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi.
The loss of a father is an immeasurable pain, which leaves an immense void in the lives of his loved ones. I hope that his contribution and love for the homeland will become a guide and a proud memory for all those who knew him.
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Kosovo, I express my most sincere condolences to former President Thaçi, the entire Thaçi family, as well as to the friends and relatives of Mr. Haxhi Thaçi.
May his memory be eternal! May he rest in peace!
