The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, has commemorated the patriot Ukshin Hoti on the 24th anniversary of his enforced disappearance by Serbian forces.
For 24 years, the fate of the patriot and intellectual Ukshin Hoti remains unclear, as his name continues to remain on the list of those forcibly disappeared by the Serbian genocidal regime a.
On May 16 1999, after his release from Dubrava prison, he was forcibly abducted under circumstances that are still unclear, while the effort to clarify his fate has never ceased.
The staunch follower of the idea of the Republic continues to remain our permanent reference for engagement for the national cause. Ukshin Hoti is the man who combined political thought and political activity for the benefit of the idea of Kosovo as a state.
Today we remember him with respect as a symbol of the Republic, freedom and democracy!
These principles guide us in our endeavours in strengthening of the state, while our determination to bring light to his fate will never stop.
