President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, has conveyed her felicitations to the Chairman of the Kosovo Islamic Community, Mufti Naim Tërnava and to all members of Islamic Community.
The felicitatory note states:
Honourable Mufti Tërnava, to you personally and to all Muslim community members, all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, I wish Eid Mubarak , this holyday of understanding, family harmony and open hand of solidarity between people.
On this special day, I wish that all Muslim devotees celebrate in opulence and harmony, together with their family members, their friends and their dearly beloved ones. I wish good health, abundance and joy upon every single family.
Let us lend the helping hand in solidarity with all those in need and let’s continue to with pride nurture the tradition of tolerance and respect for our citizens of different cultures and beliefs, as one of the most precious values of our society.
Republic of Kosovo is determined in building of its Euro-Atlantic future, as part of the family of free and democratic states in which the rights of every single citizen are respected regardless. Let this Eid al-Adha holyday serve us as an opportunity to reflect upon our work and success which we have achieved as individuals and as a society in realization of this aim.
Today, with particular respect, let us remember all those who engaged and sacrificed for us to be part of the free nations today.
