President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, together with the Director of the US Peace Corps Kosovo, Ms. Darlene Grant, visited the volunteers of these corps who are currently engaged as English language teachers at the school of the Fortesa village in Rahovec municipality, the village school in Dobërdolan and the Suhareka high school.
After seeing their work from a close perspective, President Jahjaga congratulated the volunteers on the valuable contribution they are providing to the citizens of Kosovo. She also stated that their engagement is meaningful not only to the pupils of Kosovo, who are the direct beneficiaries of their work but also to the whole society and institutions of Kosovo.
Madam President also pointed out that volunteers are connecting bridges which strengthen the friendship between the Kosovar and American people.
