The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, accompanied by the KFOR commander, General Erhard Buhler, has visited today several KFOR troops in various cities of Kosovo.
Initially, President Jahjaga and General Buhler, accompanied by The Minister of the Security Force of Kosovo, Mr. Agim Çeku, visited the Training and Doctrine Command of the Armed Forces in Ferizaj, where KFOR troops are committed to training members of the KSF.
The president said that the Kosovo Security Force is on way of achieving full operational capacity. She said the Training and Doctrine Command of the KSF is playing a very important role that the KSF will have full capacity and be prepared professionally.
President Jahjaga said that the KFOR is playing a very important role on preparing the KSF troops, with their big commitment on training the KSF troops.
Accompanied by the KFOR commander, General Erhard Buhler, President Jahjaga visited the KFOR field Camp in Prizren, where was informed about the work and activities of KFOR soldiers in this camp.
In this case, President Jahjaga thanked the KFOR soldiers for all the contributions they have made for the security in the country and for many activities for the benefit of the community and the municipality of Prizren in general.
President Jahjaga also visited the Italian KFOR Camp, in Peja. Here she has been notified about the activities of KFOR soldiers, and has honored the fallen soldiers on duty during the service of KFOR in Kosovo since 1999.
KFOR Commander, General Erhard Buhler thanked President Jahjaga for having found time to visit the KFOR soldiers and to get informed about their work.
