President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, visited today the Centre for
Rehabilitation of Mother and Child in Prishtina, led by Mrs. Flora Brovina.
Mrs. Brovina informed President Jahjaga with the activities carried out at this centre and with the problems they are facing.
At a statement made after the visit, President Jahjaga said:
I was here together with Doctor Flora Brovina and all of her staff to more closely see all the work and activities undertaken for longer than a decade and a half, period during which this centre has offered services to all survivors of the violence, torture and abuse during the war period in Kosovo.
I am extremely impressed with all the work I have seen here at the centre and I congratulated Flora (Brovina) and her personnel for all the undertaken activities, for all the services they have offered and for all the treatments they have undertaken, not only the healthcare services offered, but also the psycho-social services they have offered during all those years.
