President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, sent a telegramme of condolence to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Abdullah Gul, on the occasion of the tragedy caused by an explosion at a mine in western Turkey.
The telegramme states:
We received with great sorrow the tragic news of the mine explosion in Manisa that took the lives of many people and left behind devastated families.
On behalf of the people and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and on my personal behalf, I would like to Express the most sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to the people of Turkey.
In these difficult moments of mourning and grief in your country, I would like convey to you that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your people, and our hopes for a successful rescue mission.
