The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga received today the Head of the Central Election Commission, Mrs. Valdete Daka.
President Jahjaga and Mrs. Daka discussed about the issue of the announcement of the elections for mayor in the municipality of Ferizaj, following the resignation of the mayor of this municipality. Madam Daka stressed the importance of the institutional cooperation and the best possible preparation of the CEC for the elections for mayor in the municipality of Ferizaj.
President Jahjaga said that she has started the consultations with the political entities and parties to define a date for the elections for mayor in the municipality of Ferizaj complying with all legal deadlines.
