President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a meeting the Director General of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Shpend Maxhuni, with whom she discussed the proper proceedings of the pre term general elections in the country, scheduled to be held on June 8th.
President Jahjaga and Director General of the Kosovo Police, Mr. Shpend Maxhuni, put a particular emphasis on the issue of the citizen security and guaranteeing of the free vote. President Jahjaga emphasized that pre term general elections in the country must be free and fair as well as all inclusive and stated the necessity for full engagement of all of the security mechanisms in Kosovo in order to guarantee a peaceful and proper electoral process.
Kosovo Police Director General, Mr. Shpend Maxhuni, informed Madam President with all the preparations being undertaken in relation to the electoral process and the cooperation carried on with all other security mandated institutions for the organisation and proper proceeding of the elections.
