The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Kosovo, Ms. Kivilcim Kiliç, who handed over her credentials.
President Jahjaga highly praised the relations and cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Turkey and stressed the importance of expanding the cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.
She highly praised the support that Turkey has given to the institutions of Kosovo in all the state-building processes and the willingness to continue the support for the international consolidation process of Kosovo and its membership in the international institutions.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Prishtina, Ms. Kivilcim Kiliç expressed her country’s commitment for cooperation with the Republic of Kosovo. She said that Turkey will continue to be a strong supporter of Kosovo’s membership in regional and international institutions, in the field of law and order, economic development and the observance of human rights, with emphasis on the rights of women and children
Ambassador Kiliç said that Turkey is committed to the expansion of cooperation with Kosovo in all areas of common interest.
