President Jahjaga expressed the dedication of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo to accomplish all the requirements emanating from the SAA negotiations by spring this year, and at the same time accomplish all the standards and criteria in order to enable fastest possible visa liberalisation, which will enable free movement of the citizens of Kosovo to European countries.

Madam President also said that European agenda is an agenda which unites all communities in Kosovo and that the whole of the political spectrum in Kosovo has a unified stance on finalisation of reforms which will open the path of Kosovo’s integration in European Union.

In relation to the repeated elections in North Mitrovica, which will be held on February 23rd, President Jahjaga emphasized the need for these elections to be free and democratic and to reflect the will of the citizens to elect their legitimate and legal representatives, in compliance with the laws of Kosovo.
