President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a farewell meeting the Director of the US Peace Corps in Kosovo, Mr. Stephen Kutzy, who was accompanied by the newly appointed director of the US Peace Corps in Kosovo, Ms. Darlene Grant.
President Jahjaga highly praised the contribution of Mr. Kutzy, as the first director of the US Peace Corps Kosovo. She stated that Mr. Kutzy’s engagements and of all the volunteers is of an immense value to the strengthening of relations between citizens of Kosovo and American people, and for the expansion of friendship between two states. At the same time, President Jahjaga wished a warm welcome to Kosovo to the new director of US Peace Corps in Kosovo, Ms. Darlene Grant, and encouraged her to continue in the same successful manner the mission started by Mr. Kutzy, which envisages to provide help to all the communities of Kosovo, in all corners of the country, through the engagements of volunteers.
Director of the US Peace Corps in Kosovo, Mr. Stephen Kutzy, thanked President Jahjaga for the support which the institutions and the citizens of Kosovo have given to him personally, as well as to the volunteers of the US Peace Corps.
