President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, received today at a farewell meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Kosovo, Ms. Songul Ozan, at the end of her actual tenure.
President Jahjaga thanked Ms. Ozan for her contribution to the strengthening of relations between the two countries, and expressed her appreciation for the continuous support that Turkey has provided to Kosovo.
President Jahjaga praised the relations between the two countries and emphasized the necessity for the deepening of cooperation in fields of mutual interest, particularly in the field of economy.
Madam President stated that Turkish community in Kosovo is a connecting bridge between two countries and said that rights of this community, as well as of all other communities in Kosovo are guaranteed by the laws and the Constitution of the country.
Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Kosovo, Ms. Ozan, expressed her appreciation for the unreserved and continuous support of President Jahjaga and of the institutions of Kosovo, and praised the advances achieved in bilateral relations. She emphasized that Turkey and its citizens remain dedicated to provision of support for Kosovo in all fields.
