The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga, received today a delegation of representatives of the Egyptian community from Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia and the diaspora, led by the MP of the Kosovo Assembly, Mr. Veton Berisha, on the marking of the day of the Egyptian community in Kosovo.
The Egyptian community representative Veton Berisha informed President Jahjaga with the living conditions of the citizens of the Egyptian community, stressing that Kosovo is the best example in the region on respecting the rights and the social and institutional integration of this community.
President Jahjaga praised the integration of the Egyptian community in the social life of Kosovo, and stressed that Kosovo is a state of equal citizens and the Egyptian community without distinction, shares the same perspective with all citizens of the country.
This delegation of representatives of the Egyptian community handed over to President Jahjaga a recognition through which her support and commitment is appreciated for the full integration of the Egyptian community in the social and institutional life of Kosovo.
