President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, based on Article 84, section 3, of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as on the decision of the Central Electoral Commission on the certification of the final result of the pre term general elections in the country, has reached the decision to call the first constitutive meeting of the Parliament of Kosovo on July 17th 2014.
President Jahjaga stated that the process of pre term general elections in the country has ended with the official certification of the result, which has opened the way to the structuring of the new legislation of the Parliament of Kosovo.
All activities of the President of the Republic of Kosovo will be based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the laws in force, and after the constitution of the Parliament, President Jahjaga will submit to the Parliament the proposal for the new Prime Minister nominate.
