President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga, paid homage today at the tomb of the former President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova, on the tenth anniversary of his death.
She also visited Rugiva family, and was received by the members of this family.
At a statement made on this occasion, President Jahjaga said:
On this tenth anniversary, I came to pay my respects at the tomb of Kosovo’s historic leader, Dr. Ibrahim Rugova.
His vision makes us honour and remember with utmost respect the leader, the architect who directed our nation and our country towards the western values and eternal friendship with the United States of America.
