President of the Republic of Kosovo, Mrs. Atifete Jahjaga met today at a meeting with the Prime Minister of the republic of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, accompanied by the Minister for European Integrations Ms. Vlora Çitaku and the Political Coordinator for the dialogue on normalisation of relations with Republic of Serbia, Mr. Blerim Shala.
Prime Minister Thaçi informed the President of the Republic of Kosovo on the proceedings of the dialogue between Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Serbia, on the latest meeting of the Prime Ministers of both states and on the agreements reached in each field.
President Jahjaga stated that the meeting held few days ago between the two Prime Ministers in Brussels was a success in agreements reached, which in turn contributes to the normalisation of relations between the state of Kosovo and the state of Serbia and in improvement of the lives and work of the citizens of both countries and on our journey towards European integrations.
Madam President also stated that the meeting of the Presidents of Republic of Kosovo and Republic of Serbia, which will be held soon, is in support of the whole dialogue process that is being led by the Governments of both countries and implementation of agreements already reached.
The President and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo agreed upon the nomination of the Head of the Liaison Office of Kosovo in Belgrade, an Ambassador from the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kosovo.
