President of the Republic of Kosovo, on the sixth anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Kosovo, issued a decree on pardoning of two convicted individuals, who are serving their sentences at the correctional institutions of the country.
Decree was issued based on Article 84, section 29, of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, Law Nr. 03/L-101 on Pardon as well as on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kosovo Nr. DF-001-2012, on the Criteria and Procedures of Pardoning of Convicted Individuals.
On this decree, President has taken into consideration the Constitutional dispositions and the Law on Pardon, the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo, Decree DF-002-2012 on the Determination of the Criteria for Pardoning of the Convicted Individuals, data provided by the Ministry of Justice, Correctional Service of the Republic of Kosovo as well as the opinion of the Professional Commission established by the President of the Republic of Kosovo for this very purpose.
