With the devastating earthquake that hit the eastern part of Turkey, the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Madam Atifete Jahjaga expressed her condolences to the President of Turkey, Abdullah Gül.
In the telegram it is stated:
Honorable President Gül,
The news of the devastating earthquake, which claimed the lives of hundreds of citizens of your country and left behind widespread destruction, touched us deeply.
In my name and on behalf of the people of the Republic of Kosovo, I express the most sincere condolences to You, the Turkish people and the families of the victims. We pray at the same time for the as soon as possible healing of all the wounded and more rapid restoration of the situation and damages caused.
The institutions and people of Kosovo are ready to offer all necessary assistance to be close to those who suffered by the earthquake and all the people of Turkey in these difficult moments.
